I admire your tenacity, but to be fair your facts often are cherry-picked and/or presented with cherry-picked context.

But though FRATER laughed openly, he wept secretly; and really he neither laughed nor wept. Nor did he mean what he said.

Who excluded Anderson? The 4 are Anderson Rodon, Bummer and Brennan. Anderson is 8 and Rodon is 6.5.

Look at the positional WAR leaders in 2019, where did these guys come from?

Don't forget pitching.
Identify a player of that level on the 2015 champion Royals. Cain and his 6.1 WAR is as close as you'll get.
Nevertheless, I have no real argument on the importance of stars, except to say that stars are not enough. You need 22 or so good players to win a title. Devenski, Montas and Semien are not "marginal value" players. They are players that this FO has struggled mightily to find.
You mentioned shrewd trades. Here are some examples of shrewd trades: Santiago for Eaton; Peavy for Garcia and Montas. What did forcing "stars" get the Sox: Samardzija, Frazier and Shields at a loss of Semien, Bassit, Phegley (better and cheaper than Castillo), Montas, and player who many believe will be a future "Star" . This team plays > .500 but for those star-seeking trades and if they were a little more serious/careful when filling out with short-term veterans.

Another thread hijacked by management hate. Yay!!!
Who cares about Vaughn or Dalquist or Thompson? When will they sign? Where will they play first (Great Falls? Kannapolis?)? When might they make it to the majors and what are their chances of success? Forget about those questions....MARCUS SEMIEN!!!!! PHEGLEY!!!!

That's where I'm at on the whole discussion. It's certainly fair game to criticize Hahn and other members of Sox brass - they've earned a fair amount of criticism and haven't earned much benefit of the doubt. But when the same things keep getting spun and cherry picked over and over again in thread after thread, then it's hard to have a serious discussion about the concerns about (in this case) drafting strategy and success.

Remember this?

As I pointed out already, Marcus Semien, whom Rick Hahn dumped, has a higher career WAR than Hahn's drafts combined, including Anderson was really a KW pick

And closed. Draft is over anyway. Post updates in the generic Minor League thread.

It takes more than one person to have a hijack grow legs. If the people who are bothered by the repetitive nature of the posting would stop replying it wouldn't go anywhere. We all have choices to make.
