I'm thinking about going next year so I'll be watching for any tips you get or give post trip!

I too would appreciate any tips from the Spring Training veterans; Iíll be there for the first time during Spring Break in March.

Interesting article on Tyler Danish's outlook after a car accident this past summer. His car got totaled while he sat at a stop light by a truck.

I realize he's not expected to do much, but I was also surprised to learn he's only 23.

The best advice I can give is to get there early (9:00 am) and be flexible. The last time I went, the practice fields on the east side of the complex were used by the Sox. There was a scrimmage between the Sox and Rockies rookie league and A league players. I stood behind the backstop like I was at a park district game and watched a Sox pitcher fire pitch after pitch in the high 90s. Really gives a perspective. There were baserunning drills on another field.

Just relax and see things at your own pace. You can't go wrong, because it's all interesting.

We plan to go early March this year, so maybe I'll run into some WSIers.

If I'm not mistaken, Sox play their first ST game today against the Dodgers.

Is there a radio stream for ST games?

Not going to lie, despite very low expectations, I'm weirdly excited.

If any of you are going to be in Glendale - reports would be most welcome.

We've been waiting nearly 5 months to say this, but here is today's starting lineup for the White Sox:

Sanchez, 3B
Anderson, SS
Abreu, 1B
Garcia, RF
Moncada, 2B
Delmonico, DH
Cordell, LF
Smith, C
Engel, CF
Starting Pitcher: Covey

Anderson with a 3-run shot. I really hope he puts it together this season. Seems like a decent kid...

I know it's ST. I know it's early. Anderson can stay in the 2-hole if he keeps hitting HRs, but I think we all know that Moncada is a better fit there, and Anderson is better suited for the bottom third of the order.

For anyone who watches way too much MLB Network like I do, the Sox will be featured on their 30 visits to spring training sites on Feb. 28 (next Wednesday).

MLB Network began with the Reds today. Not too bad. Some interesting information.

And as a surprise, judging from the statline, Covey didn't do too bad. I was expecting him to get shelled.

Gordon Beckham is playing 2B for Seattle today! He has made a career of it after all, it seems.

I don't mind when players like Ynoa do terrible in spring ball. Even though it makes the Sox lose, it eliminates any temptation the club might have to give a failed prospect another kick at the can.

We don't need to see any more of him at the big-league level.

The first spring win is in the books. Sox get two in the eighth and one in the ninth to rally for a 5-3 win over Seattle.
