I'll be there, along with son-of-tebman, doing what we do best: standing in line and comparing notes on hot-stove gossip. The weekend is immersion therapy.

Every year since '09. My excuse to spend a weekend in the city every January. Excited for the new batch of players this year.

I'll be there again this year after skipping last year.
(Wasn't happy with the direction of the team).

I like some of the things they did now and it's always a good time.

Just waiting on that darn schedule.

Sunday is usually pretty tame IMO.

But it is relatively cheap.

Good way to dip your toes into the extravaganza that is Soxfest though.

So I am thinking about attending Soxfest for the first time this year. I was thinking about buying a few baseballs to get autographs. Is it worth it or are the lines for autographs like 4 hours long?

The only tickets they had left for sale on whitesox.com were Saturday/Sunday combo or Sunday only. I went on Sunday last year and had a good time.

I've gone the last seven years, and it's been a good time. If you're interested in autographs you'll wait in line for specific players. The process is well-organized; the trick is to get a wristband to allow you in the line.

I'm not an autograph collector like some folks. I just get a kick out of talking with the players when they're signing. The seminars are intersting too, but the best part for me is hanging around swapping stories with other hopeless Sox fans like myself.

If you're able to go, you should. You may not get much sleep, but you'll have a lot of laughs.

Hopeless? Do you remember what happened the last time the Eagles and Patriots faced off in the Super Bowl? It was February, 2005. Need I say more?

I'll be there all weekend, most likely adding nothing of value to the conversation.

I'll be there all three days as usual. I'm bringing my nephew for the first time so it'll be fun to see him experience SoxFest.

Sunday is low key @ SoxFest. It's probably my favorite day of the 3. You can grab plenty of autographs from the young guys that we hope some day are All Stars. Go Sox!

This will be my 25th consecutive SoxFest!

Laughs? At SoxFest?! Impossible! I'm looking forward to getting the summer family back together and to the comradery that this weekend always holds.

I didn't mean anything bad by it.
I just meant Sunday is a lot more laid back and seems not as crowded.
