Could've been Yolmer, could easily have been Shields. But man, it was fun to watch Jose leg out that triple for the cycle.

Read all about it in tonight's Totally Biased Game Recap, in which we give a shout-out to Shields.

Could have been Anderson too. On any other night I'd have given it to Shields, but that cycle and yes him legging out that triple were too much fun to be denied.

I like the pick. It was Jose's night.

To think he spent most of the night worrying about Cuba as Irma hit.

Stories like this make this team a greater joy to experience as they slowly (please not too slow) climb the ladder to success.

It was an embarrassment of riches. Shields's performance was overshadowed by the barrage of runs and Abreu's cycle.

I realized that I left out a paragraph in the TBGR acknowledging Shields. I corrected my editing screwup and put it back in. There were a lot of reasons to be happy with this game, and Shields was one of them.

Truth. I laughed, smiled, hooted and hollered, and clapped. And then laughed some more.

I was watching my Buckeyes get reamed on national television at the same time so the Sox fun made it marginally less painful...
