More to the point, do you profess to not caring about the Cubs and then attending Cubs games out of town while wearing Sox gear? To be precise, that is what I find strange, not the wearing of your favorite team's gear to neutral games.

The game was between the Cardinals and Phillies.

Seems like a good place to post this. I am in Seal Beach meeting my future in-laws who are Korean. We went to their favorite Korean restaurant last night where I was the only non-Asian person in the restaurant when we walked in. Itís the heart of the Korean harvest festival Chaesuk and the place was crowded. As we were leaving I spotted an elderly gentleman in line wearing a baseball cap. It was the only baseball cap in the restaurant. It was a While Sox cap. Obviously I pointed it out and gave him the thumbs up. Not much of a response though he did acknowledge my greeting. No idea how much English he spoke anyway the waitstaff was taking and writing orders in Korean.

I was definitely guilty of wearing Sox stuff to Cubs road games and cheering the opponent in my 20s.
