Default R.A. Dickey, only active MLB knuckleballer, on NPR's Fresh Air

He was on promoting his new book, but it was still a pretty entertaining interview for baseball fans.

As a lover of the knuckleball, I was sad to see Tim Wakefield retire recently. I wish Dickey well, and would love to see a couple more practitioners of baseball's strangest art in the major leagues. It seems like it is a dying art.

I enjoyed the interview. Like many other knuckleballers, Dickey seems like an oddball. Nearly killing himself trying to swim across the Missouri River? Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro? Not your typical baseball player.
