Dodgers rally to get the split, ruining a pretty good outing by Wade Miley. Two in the seventh and two in the eighth off a Tormund Giantsbane... er... Justin Turner home run to get the 4-3 win and send the series to LA 1-1.

Astros take Game 1 by winning the battle of the bullpens, as Verlander was able to go 6 and then hand it to the Astros' pen, which only allowed one hit over the last three while K'ing 5. Sale only went 4 for Boston, but left down 2-0. The Red Sox scored 2 in the fifth off a walked-in run and a wild pitch, but left two on after a K which ended up getting Alex Cora tossed. Houston added one unearned run in the sixth but then put up 4 in the ninth off a Reddick solo shot and a three-run shot from Gurriel following walks to Altuve and Bergman.

Red Sox are going to need a good outing from playoff snake-bitten David Price to avoid going down 0-2, while the Astros send Gerrit Cole to the mound.

That Red Sox pen is not good by any stretch.

Cole gives up 2 runs in the first. Price has to shut them down in the second and keep the 2R lead...

Nope.

Gives up a 2RBI double to tie the game 2-2.

Had more to do with the domestic violence he was suspended for in Toronto.

With last night’s Dodger win, all four teams have lost at least twice in the postseason.

The 11-1 record of the 1999 Yankees is safe for another year.
