There is no such thing as a “savory segment” of Cardinal fans.

Yu Darvish leaves after one inning in his rehab start because he apparently felt something wrong. Always felt this was an awful signing. This year has pretty much reinforced that belief. Still sucks for him of course. I feel bad for the guy because I occasionally see some fans out there saying he’s pretty much scared to pitch in the Chicago spotlight.

Have you interacted with any north side fan?

Chicago spotlight? Spotlight on what?

I do not feel bad for Darvish; I feel bad for any fan that believes Chicago has a sports spotlight cast upon it.

Sure I have. Cub are the most awful fans in the sport. They have been the most awful fans in the sport for as long as I can remember. That doesn’t make Cardinal fans good, though.

Sheesh, talk about Cub Luck (and I am): They scored one run in each of their last FOUR games now over 38 innings, offensive juggernaut that they are, and they STILL won two of those games. Keep it up, baby bears, keep it up...

The Cubs will get Bryant back and that will be a boost.

The Cubs will live and die with their pitching.

I don't think there's a window on when Bryant is supposed to return though, is there?

Seriously, **** the Cubs, **** their manager, and **** their fans. Go Brewers.
Were cubbie clowns unhappy with what happened yesterday? Pitch number one was a strike to Schwarber. It was called a ball. Schwarber, who should have been out, later in the AB hit a solo HR.

Northside team is reportedly acquiring Daniel Murphy. Interesting pickup.

Maybe Bryant's return isn't as imminent as we believed? Otherwise, to quote Hawk, "where is he gonna play?"

Maybe 2nd and move Baez to SS? Russell has been playing hurt and is really struggling. That would definitely have an negative impact on their infield defense up the middle.

Nobody tell him that the Cubs play in Boystown. He might "disagree with the lifestyle."

I hope this whole team crashes and burns spectacularly.

Yeah, they brought an unlikeable type on board, though I was fine with his performance in October 2015.
