There is no such thing as a “savory segment” of Cardinal fans.

Yu Darvish leaves after one inning in his rehab start because he apparently felt something wrong. Always felt this was an awful signing. This year has pretty much reinforced that belief. Still sucks for him of course. I feel bad for the guy because I occasionally see some fans out there saying he’s pretty much scared to pitch in the Chicago spotlight.

Chicago spotlight? Spotlight on what?

I do not feel bad for Darvish; I feel bad for any fan that believes Chicago has a sports spotlight cast upon it.

Sure I have. Cub are the most awful fans in the sport. They have been the most awful fans in the sport for as long as I can remember. That doesn’t make Cardinal fans good, though.

Sheesh, talk about Cub Luck (and I am): They scored one run in each of their last FOUR games now over 38 innings, offensive juggernaut that they are, and they STILL won two of those games. Keep it up, baby bears, keep it up...

The Cubs will get Bryant back and that will be a boost.

The Cubs will live and die with their pitching.

I don't think there's a window on when Bryant is supposed to return though, is there?
