One of my favorite movies.. and my favorite team. I first thought "no way would I make the trek from Virginia" but now that I'm thinking about it, I could squeeze in a visit home to Chicago and drive out for a game.

I hope the Sox bust out these beautiful uniforms once again. The Turn Back the Clock game still remains my favorite promotion the Sox ran. (I just wished they had won the game, but it was a fun day nonetheless)

I wonder if this will be an oddball Thursday/Saturday/Sunday home series with a day off included. I’d think it would have to be.

Edit: Maybe not, if they fly out of Dubuque back to Chicago I suppose they could play again Friday night.

Per White Sox.Com, Off day on Friday, series finishes on Saturday and Sunday at Sox Park.

Picked up a pair of seats right in the first row behind home plate from a coupe of real friendly guys on the overpass. Can't wait! This is going to be great.

I wonder if even 25% of that goes on sale or if STHs will get first pick. Since my World Series ticket fund isn’t likely to get used this year or next, I may have to draw some of that. It would be interesting to see the face on these seats and what they end up going for.
