Arizona opens tonight. Here are some of the more prominent prospects currently on the roster:

Bryan Saucedo - P - 2016, 14th round
Michael Hickman - C - 2017, 13th round
Sam Abbott - 1B - 2017, 8th round
David Cronin - 2B - 2017, 20th round (He's a UIC kid)
Maiker Feliz - 3B - 2014, International Signing (only 19 years old)
Amado Nunez - SS - 2015, International Signing (only 19 years old)
Alex Destino - OF - 2017, 14th round

If you ever wanted to see how a team with 20th-30th round draft picks and mid-range international signings performs, this is the team to watch.

Add in catcher Jhoandro Alfaro who was a 2014 international signing of some status (similar to Nunez). His older brother is a prospect catcher too for either Texas or Philly I think. But yeah, no one else on the roster really jumps out at me.

I don't see Burger or Sheets on a roster anywhere yet.

Is Collins heading towards "bust" territory?

1st round pick heading to <.200 batting average at High A in his 2nd year out of a major college program.

Fulmer not looking a whole lot better at Charlotte.

My guess is that Fulmer ends up as a decent relief pitcher somewhere but I no longer see him as a potential starter.

Collins I think it is too early to tell. The batting average is definitely of concern but he is hitting for power and drawing a ton of walks. His batting average is .209 but his on base percentage is .367.

Over 105 minor league games he has 18 doubles and 16 HR's, 123 K's and 87 W's with a slash line of .222/.378/.422 while playing a premium position that generally detracts from a players hitting numbers. It definitely has me wondering but I wouldn't write him off just yet. His OBP and power numbers are right where they should be and those were advertised as his strengths out of college.

Disappointing, but this is only his first full year so there is long time to go before he is considered a bust.
