.500 OBP coupled with a .538 S. Pct is acceptable I suppose.

Micker Adolfo hit his 20th double tonight... It's the middle of June.

He has 7 HR's to go with that. I'm back to being excited about this kid.

Birmingham and WS are atrocious...worse than last year. I think that says something about the ongoing lack of farm depth. An improved Kanny is promising.

Yup. Most of the new guys went to Charlotte or Kannapolis and, not surprisingly, they are the two performing the best. Meanwhile, Birmingham and Winston-Salem are mostly left-over scrubs.

Winston-Salem should have a better second half as a mix of draftees and players from Kanny moving up should improve their performance.

Great Falls opens up their season tonight. No official roster yet, but of the 2017 draft picks it is confirmed that Luis Gonzalez will start there.

I know that most of the draftees that sign won't be assigned to the full-season affiliates, but it's possible that a few might, and mid-season promotions are in order as well. To make room, do we have any idea who at Kannapolis, Winston-Salem, Birmingham, or Charlotte, is in danger of being released?

I really doubt there is anyone at Kanny that would be released. Winston-Salem and Birmingham are full of older, minor league free agent types. Would anyone care if a guys like JJ Franco, Telvin Nash, Cameron Seitzer or Scott Snodgress were released?

I would think crap like Keon Barnum and Courtney Hawkins might be on their last legs.

Because of their draft status, they won't be let go during the season. When minor league free agency comes, they'll be given their release.

I would think that a good bit of K would move to WS. Some WS would move to B, but some would also be cut. And a good bit of Arizona - holdovers from last year - would move to K.
