The Twins seem to be refunding the Sox Metrodome tax back this year...I think they owe a bit more

Of course, there was a Wave for about 10 minutes in the 7th inning... But, eh, I was over in 155 basically right behind the LF foul pole and even THAT wasn't so bad, at least by me, seemed like people were up for multitasking. Really, one of the better games I have ever been to. Glad they rewarded us with the win.

I woke up for the top of the ninth last night at 4:00 am and I thought Addison Reed looked very calm and very collected. The season's trials, tribulations, and even failures just might prove to be very valuable. The crowd was a big help to him, I'm sure. |

Besides the drunken banter, I'm just happy we won a game. We lost the ability to control our own destiny the way we played. Now we just have to put the pressure on Detroit.

FWIW (and I post this every year), "destiny," by definition, cannot be controlled. It is pre-determined or pre-ordained. But anyway, I still believe we can do this. Gotta be within a game of Detroit when we go to Cleveland.

Wait, I really mean that. Is there a 2nd teal for double sarcasm to cancel it out? This is too much to think about while hungover this morning... |

![]() ![]() I am enjoying every minute of this pennant race and it's great to see our Sox still battling. Just a few more hours to go until today's game and my heart is already racing. Keep on winning, White Sox! ![]() PS: I forgot to mention earlier how great it was to see Robin smiling and congratulating each player individually as he came back to the dugout after the win last night. Great moments.

October26 - Twenty-SEVEN years ago, I married my husband on October 26. Since that day, we have been blessed with a wonderful family. Then, on October 26, 2005, when the baseball gods bestowed their good fortunes upon us, we saw the White Sox win the World Series. An incredibly talented team of grinders made every Sox fan's dream come true. My family and I celebrated with reckless abandon. And now, we look forward to that day when our White Sox will once again be World Series Champions! |
