Pretty cool experience, even though the Sox lost and saw the lead shrink to 1.5 games.

I guess it worked out OK.
Ugh. I was at that game using my sister's Straight A/Perfect Attendance tickets she got from school. One of the few games I decided to leave early after the Twins added insurance runs in the 11th. Fortunately, that was the real end of the slump, and I was back there two nights later for my final game of 05.

No.

Doing Malnati's and Pequods in the same day is a bit too much for me.

I haven't been to Wrigley Field since 1963, and I only went then because it was the reward for having been a patrol boy at Oak School in LaGrange Park. A day out of school was too good to pass up.

Wrigley was a great place to watch the Bears when they played there.
As a kid in the 50s I went to quite a few Cub games without adults because of the day baseball and it was only a short L ride from Rogers Park, never rooted for the Cubs and always wore either my Sox cap or a Milwaukee Braves cap.
I went to to many Sox games in the 50s with my favorite uncle and finally went to Comiskey Park on the L with my buddies in 1960.
