Hansen seems to be doing alright so far with the single a bump. He continues to look like an absolute steal if his control can hold against better competition.
I like Adams a lot. He's still young for AA and I also thought I read recently that his velocity is picking up a few notches, so that's good. He's been overshadowed by all the new acquisitions, but he has a chance to be real good.

Adams has become a sinkerballer, so his K rate hasn't been amazing compared to the big arms, but he is getting a good grip on pitching. The secondary pitches are improving. There's a chance Spencer can have the best stats out of these guys.

And Adolfo who's having a very nice season.

Had the chance to the Kannapolis game last night- Sheets, Adolfo and Burger all with solid line drive hits, Burger took a low breaking ball down the LF line for a double (he is one stout/stocky dude). Was hoping to see him at 3rd- but he was DH.

Rough night for Gonzalez in CF- 0-4, and dropped a deep fly ball after running a "Leury Garcia" type route- he may be on the outside looking in for playing time until Call moves back up to WS.

He will be a nice four or give starter with a possibility of hovering in the high 3's to low 4's ERA wise. He will be consistent, too.

Giolito and Collins continue to disappoint. Collins moreso. He is up there in age and struggling in A plus. Lucas will get another year to season in Charlotte after this as he just turned 23.

Luckily, it looks like we will deliver on at least Dunning or Lopez so that trade won't be a complete loss.

The lineup for Kannapolis tonight

SS-Roman
CF-Rutherford
3B-Burger
RF-Adolfo
1B-Sheets
LF-Call
DH-L.Gonzalez
2B-Remillard
C-Skoug

Rutherford is 1 for 3 with a run scored.
Burger is 3 for 3 with a run and an RBI. 2 of his hits are doubles.
Adolfo is 1 for 3 with his 52nd RBI
Sheets is 1 for 3
Skoug is 2 for 2

Winston-Salem's line-up is also impressive:

2B-Flete
SS-Yrizarri
C-Collins
RF-Jiminez
LF-Fisher
1B-Rose
DH-Zavala
3B-Conlan
CF-Basabe

Jiminez is 2 for 3 with 2 runs and an RBI. His 2 hits are a double and HR.

The line-up for Birmingham continues to be pathetic but they do have Kopech pitching. 4 innings, 3 hits, no runs, no walks, 5 K's.

Burger just added a triple to his night. He's hitting .389. Winston-Salem is going to need to make room on the roster for him soon.
