That was fun. The 12th featuring heroics from Yoan and Yolmer added up to an ideal outcome.

Big nights by Moncada, Avi, Palka, and the bullpen help pick up Giolito after a poor start by him.

Avi is on absolute fire at the plate

Everytime the Sox score a bunch of runs, I think "oh good, there's no way Moncada wasn't involved if they scored that many" and then I check and...888 times out of 1,000 Moncada was in fact somehow not involved.

Checked today and was pleasantly surprised to see Moncada collect 3 hits.

Is it time to start taking this Palka kid seriously?

Great series from Avi and Moncada so far. How fun it would be the rest of the summer if these two can stay hot.

Giolito though...yikes.

Massive homer by Avi!

Even massiver triple by Moncada!

Rough night for Gio. Too many long balls.

Team coulda’ quit numerous times, but...

They’re Ricky’s boys...

Worth the time spent watching it. Two plays stick in my mind: Where Anderson had Hamilton hung out to dry if he runs at him and makes one throw AND where Adam was out of the path the whole way but must have got back in before he made contact with Scooter's glove.

They look like a different bunch without a three-man black hole at the bottom of the lineup. At least the team is watchable.

Side note: Riggleman must have gotten too old for tight pants. Age is a tough opponent. Ask me about it.

Gio was doomed from the start, that park is a bandbox of epic proportions. Especially when it is hot and humid like this. GAB Makes GRF look like Dodger Stadium at night. Hopefully Moncada is about to explode like he did in late April.

Anyone notice that anytime Moncada puts the ball in play he has a delayed reaction not realizing it's in play?

5th time the Sox have trailed in the 7th inning or later and won. First time they came back in the 9th, previous four times it was in the 8th inning.

Glad for Moncada.

Nice to see the opposition for once kick / throw the ball all over the place.

Great to see Avi keeps hitting...great time for it, up the trade value!!!

I saw that, he was prolly thinking "it's a single with the bases loaded...hey, that's going to the fence!, I better start running or it's another Stern Ricky Lecture." Or he just isn't baseball smart.

I've actually seen this more often recently during his struggles.

Hopefully the coaching staff has noticed, I think he's just not following the ball all the way to contact and maybe could be the solution to his inconsistency. Too much head movement and head coming out at the end.

I'm sure they have plenty of video for this and could see it at slower speeds.

When he makes solid contact, this kid is a force.

Dan Palka reminds me of another "DP" -- Dan Pasqua. He hits the ball hard. Very hard.
