Default Donít look now, Twins fans...

After yesterdayís win, the Indians have completely erased what was once an 11.5-game Twins lead (on June 2nd) in the division.

Not a big deal from a Twins perspective. That is, if you're professionals and not wall flowers.

Kind of depends. They hit 24-games over .500 on June 14th. Going into today's game they are 24-games over .500. So they've been playing .500 ball for the last two months. Now they were 28 games over after recently sweeping the Royals and then winning the first against the Braves, but then they lost 4 in a row.

It's not just about losing the lead. There's a WHOLE lot of "meh" going on...

It never depends. The thrill of the challenge is there or it's not. If it's not, find another outlet.

My point is the early season mojo they had is gone. They still should make the playoffs even if they lose the division, but early this year they were the hotest team in baseball. Now things are tough. We'll find out what they're made of these last 7 weeks.

Yeah...They've been a little better on the road than at home. They have a handful more on the road than at home. Let's see if the pitching holds up.

Twins have a decidedly easier remaining schedule than the Indians:

Twins have 29 games left with the White Sox (9), Royals (10) and Tigers (10).
Indians have 16 games left with the White Sox (7), Royals (3) and Tigers (6).
Neither has games left with Jays, Orioles or Mariners.

Indians have series remaining with Tampa, Philly, Mets, Washington, Yankees, Boston.

Twins have series remaining with Boston and Washington.

I think it's crazy that they've set a franchise record for home runs in a season with 1-1/2 months left.

Carlos Santana walks off Boston and all of a sudden, Cleveland is in first place.

If the Twins make the playoffs, as usual they will get swept in the playoffs.

I have a bet with a Twins fan who back in the beginning of June said they would win the WS.

He's losing his mind right now
