Arizona is definitely the right place for the Sox to be in Spring Training. The amount of transplants that are moving to Scottsdale from Chicago is pretty incredible. I can think of quite a few friends that in the last 10 years have either moved there or have a winter home there.

When the White Sox were located in Tucson, 2 hours away from everyone else in the Cactus League, Florida was better. Now the Grapefruit League needs to follow suit and get the hell out of Jupiter and Pt. St. Lucie. With Viera no longer in use and Lake Buena Vista soon to follow, those senseless 4-hour trips to the Atlantic coast need to go the way of Old Yeller.
