Baseball isn't even being played and the Mets are still being the Mets.

What the holy hell? He is not connected to MLB except as a player agent. If Manfred so much as gives this ego monster the time of day on this, he's crazy.

He wants to ensure his clients get a 100% paycheck for the season and not leave it to chance that MLB might prorate based on how many games are played less than 162.

Of course, he does not seem to care that his clients who play in the World Series will have an offseason that lasts about 7 weeks instead of the usual 3.5 months (about 14 weeks).

There is also the issue of competition for the attention of the fans in cities that have an NFL team (Except for the White Sox and Cubs).

Passan reporting the MLB and MLBPA reached an agreement on the 2020 season.

Big thing in the players will receive credit for a year of service time no matter what happens. So if the season is canceled guys like Betts will still be free agents after the season.

This is ridiculous. The bans should start effective the day baseball starts back up.

Well if the players are getting paid right now then the loss of money from sitting out the ban would be the same if they do it now or later.
