Default Rick Renteria haters thread

If Rick Hahn has a haters thread, then Rick Renteria should have one.

540 games into his managerial career, Renteria still canít properly fill out a lineup card.

Does it matter when half the team can't hit their weight.

Maybe not but it seems to me he just doesnít put his team in the best position to succeed, I donít get why Castillo hits above Anderson so often. I donít get why Alonso is hitting so high. I donít get why he asks so many guys to bunt, I donít get why he changes pitchers when he does. Thereís a lot of things he does that I donít get.

Does he fill out the lineup card or does the bench coach? Until I know what exactly are his responsibilities and what he actually does, I wont knock him.

Yes, it matters. It proves that he is unable to properly evaluate and manage talent. WhiteSox5187 said it perfectly; Renteria is not putting his players in situations where they can succeed.

Renteria is just a cheap management piece. The Sox organization's plan is to just go cheap. Why hire a Girardi or a Showalter? They would want real money and they certainly wouldn't settle for a second rate organization. That is our real problem.

Renteria could not even manage the Cubs to their abysmal standards. It never made any sense to hire a loser like that.

Money on big managerial names is likely a thing of the past.

This guy is hell-bent on burying Tim Andersonís bat in the #7 spot.

He has to go.

I can understand letting him start the inning but he should have been pulled a lot sooner.

Herrera had no business pitching the 8th inning.

They've got bullpen depth problems again. Burr and Bummer are both out presently. Not a lot of there... there.

I also think they are trying to see if they can get Herrera back on track.
