Oh, another suicide thought for Cub fans, Willson Contreras, the guy who has carried the team on his back since the ASB, is having an MRI and Maddon says he is a candidate for the DL. Hurt his Hammy running out a ground ball in the 8th today.....
If the Cards catch the Cubs, Cubs fans will be blaming this cat: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.d7f038f78e54

Not that I wish injury on anyone, but I won't shed a tear for two reasons:

1) Contreras is a whiny *****.

2) Now certain Cub fans who were gloating and guffawing at the Moncada-Garcia collision are the ones ****ting themselves.

To bad Milwaukee is collapsing and didn't take advantage of the Cubs recent issues.

The Cardinals are taking advantage, though. They've won five in a row. Fred Bird has appeared in the Cubs' rearview mirror, and he's closer than he appears.

They seem to have a knack for that sort of thing. Remember 2011?

MLB Network radio was discussing the Contreras injury and felt that it was a direct result of the constant position changes from Genius Joe.

Yet more Cubbie-loving garbage from the Tribune:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports...14-column.html

If there were something like this written about the Sox, Cub fans would be like "Well, their team sucks. What else can they write about?"

But for the Cubs, it's "Hey, everybody! Aren't these guys funny and awesome and great?!"

Wonderful, free PR stuff for the Cubs. Did Sullivan get to dance with them as well? Maybe he's waiting for his invitation.
