Genius Joe would want control of hiring his staff and no meddling with his managerial duties. In other words hes not controllable and that nixes his chances for working for the Sox.

There's truth in this statement in my opinion.

Remember when Yu Darvish wasn't a China Doll? Yeah, neither do I.

Reminds me of what Carol Brady's old high school boyfriend Tank Gates thought of Mike:

5 straight losses against the Reds. I love it.

After ditching Bryan Price following a 3-15 start, the Reds are 36-34 under Jim Riggleman. If they keep this up, Riggleman should be a legitimate NL Manager of the Year candidate.

Eh I dunno about that. The Reds have the talent to be a .500 squad but Price was just really bad. Riggleman has simply pulled them back to where they're supposed to be.

If they somehow pull out a miracle playoff push, then give him the award.

The Reds can hit, but their pitching staff is absolute dog crap. It has taken a really good managing job to get that team into .500 territory.

Chicago Cubs management apparently petitioned MLB to quash the Padres’ upcoming promotion celebrating the 34th anniversary of San Diego’s thrilling NLCS comeback against the Lovable Losers.

Default Cubbies Fans Are Douche Bags

At my first Sox game of the season today. Although I went to two Spring Training games.

What is it with cubbie clowns wearing, not just a cubbies hat but coming to a Sox/Royals game walking around like they're Ronnie Woo Woo?

Today with my friends we went to the Craft Cave. Three or four cubbie clowns in their cubbies gear. And there is one guy with a cubbie cap, shirt and god knows what else going around shouting, "Go Cubs!"

Cubbie fans love to talk about their encounters with rogue Sox fans, but my god can I please go to a Sox game without having these asshats in my face?

Since they are showing up at Sox games, they obviously care even if it is to give the Sox ****. Blows that theory that Cub fans don't care about the Sox right out of the water doesn't it?

And I'm sure JR appreciates their contributions financially to the franchise.

Funny. I was listening to the end of Friday's Cubs game on the Padres feed, and their announcer said pretty much the same thing in regards to their fans filling up Petco Park.

The Cubbie faithful are sore winners. They believe their team is successful because God has chosen to reward them for their greatness as a fan base.

I look forward to them being humbled in the World Series this year by whichever AL team survives the gauntlet of the AL playoffs. The Cubs are the best team in the NL, but there are at least three teams in the AL that are better than the Cubs. Maybe as many as five.

And, we can thank White Sox management, too, for failing to provide a product that entices Sox fans to come to games. More Sox fans at games would mean fewer tickets for Cubbie faithful to snap up, but I can't blame any Sox fan who refuses to go to the ballpark and watch this product right now.
