I can see that a little bit, but he reminds me most of Clay Buchholz. Body type, delivery, overall stuff also.

Fister gets away w/being a RHP who throws only 88 because of deception and good movement on the pitch. At 6' 9" he's all knees and elbows coming to the plate and his release point is at probably 52 feet. He has great control of all his off speed pitches. Hopefully Adams can develop as good a change and curveball as Fister over the next few years, but I doubt he could ever get away w/throwing 88. (Thankfully he's already at 92-95 and should still be growing into his frame.)
