You can put in on the board...YES!
Angels deliver gift from heaven
Like the Sox playing second fiddle in Chicago, Ozzie second fiddle in small ball to Scocsia

Dozens of empty seats at the Cell (actual line from a Trib article today)
Cold weather and No Yankees to blame (we didn't even think about the fact that they may have been in the bullpen bar or in the fundamentals deck...they don't have those things at Wrigley)

FOX uses Tribune idea of inventing a curse
Curses are fun, they give an excuse for futility

That "dozens of empty seats" line is just wishful thinking. There were hundreds of fans milling around the lower bowl for the entire game, and it was almost impossible to find a spot to stand with a clear view of the game. I had a UD ticket and managed to get to the 100 level and I'm sure I wasn't alone.

No kidding, ticket fast makes it so easy to get to the 100 lvl if you have friends down there. Hey here's a copy of my ticket, meet me at the fan deck.

From Paul Sullivan's article:

Quote:
Amazingly, dozens of empty seats existed, despite the new and improved view and the Sox's success. Patrick McCubbin of Oak Park was sitting next to an empty seat in Section 528, in the second row from the top, watching Joe Crede's home run sail over the fence. "These aren't my real seats," McCubbin said. "There's more room to stretch over here." .....

Evidently, there's still some room on the bandwagon, in case anyone wants to jump on.

This is very misleading. It gives the impression (which I'm sure is NOT unintentional) that the Sox just couldn't sell out the game. Tell that to all the Sox fans who tried to get tickets on Thursday and couldn't get any because we were told the game was sold out.

Actually, the rest of the article is very complimentary of the Cell. I was shocked that Paul Sullivan would write such positive things about Sox Park.

....unless this is the explanation:

Sox Fans Hack Into Tribune computer network.
- Classless thugs alter Paul Sullivan article, replace Sox Park criticisms with positive comments about The Cell.
- Hackers not entirely successful as last few paragraphs of Sullivan's real article makes it to publication.

Sox have lost more games than Cubs in last 2 weeks.
An obvious sign as to who is the better team

"Dozens" = what? 24 seats? 36 seats? 48 seats? Out of 40,000?!?

Apparently it's impossible that anybody would go to the fundamentals deck or to the bullpen bar or to the stadium club or to the gift shop or to the bathroom or to buy a hot dog or to smoke, etc.

If you have a 100 level ticket to another ALCS game, you're in like Flynn.
