Glad we're teaching these young guys how to lose in style so they can continue on the tradition.

This team is just absolutely horrible! One implosion after another from the so called bullpen and fundamental error after error on the field. I really thought this team would be fun to watch with a roster full of young players busting their butts to show they belonged, but were seeing just the opposite with this group with the exception of a few players. I donít know the answer but this just isnít working!

I noticed Anderson has hit some HRs but as of late, his SO total has been on the rise.

Maybe Lip is right, the losing is starting to change player perspectives.

If, as Hawk says, the true mark of a good manager is how hard your players play for you then Renteria is sucking this year.

I still think Jones can fetch us back something decent in a trade. Too much talent to not take a chance for a contender. Especially with how postseason baseball is with relievers coming in early and often.

Won't be long before Rodon's back and Kopech and Eloy are promoted and then all of a sudden the White Sox are must watch TV, even as they cruise toward 100 losses.

Lopez pitched damn well = the bright side. Looking forward to Moncada's return.

Lester Holt threw out the first pitch. He was in town doing Nightly News from Chicago last night.

He was also on the pre-game show talking to Chuck Garfein. He said he had fond memories of bringing his kids to White Sox games during the Frank Thomas years.

Despite the outcome of each game, there are so many reasons to watch and it will only get better.

As a famous foursome once said, it couldn't get much worse.

Nate Jones is starting to remind me of Kyle Farnsworth- great stuff, but not the best results. Definitely not a closer and seems to wilt in high pressure situations- worst thing about his performance isn't necessarily the loss, but he's not really setting up any kind of quality trade value at the deadline.

Rondon made a very impressive play at 2nd yesterday- nice range and a very strong arm from his knees. Not a fan of Leury Garcia in the infleld- I like him better as our utility IF.

We're not a very good team- and when we lose our starting RF and 2nd baseman- we kind of go off a cliff- along with the complete absence of a reliable closer.

Players that are an important part of the rebuild:
Anderson, Fulmer, Giolito, Lopez, Moncada
Players that might be or could have trade value:
Abreu, Bummer, Castillo, Davidson, Delmonico, A. Garcia, Jones, Sanchez

Nate Jones got rocked in one game and it seems many wish to write off his value.

I know I am discussing better pitchers than Nate, here, but under that logic, we'd have shut the book on Hand, Jansen, Kimbrel, and a number of other solid relief pitchers this season.

Jones though has a bad history of this.

Wasn't it last year or two years ago he personally blew a half dozen games? Now add in his injury history and the fact that he is already 32 and I think you have to hope he can turn it around...so the Sox can get something for him at the deadline.

His history of injuries is why he might not have much of a market. When he's healthy, he's a pretty good reliever.

Even though these guys know the score you have to think this bullpen blowing game after game is starting to take a toll mentally on them.

I shudder to think what this weekend could look like. It could be beyond awful.
Pretty amazing that a player of L. Garcia's caliber would dog it. That dude should be thanking his lucky stars that he's been given an opportunity to stick in the big leagues. Glad Renteria isn't putting up with that crap...

Hopefully, Avi comes back strong and they can flip him for something decent.
