BMac put the Knights in a hole early by giving up a 3-run HR in the bottom of the 1st.
Whisler gave up 2 in the 1st but has settled down nicely. The 'Hogs scored on back-to-back doubles by the other CLee and Nanita, but trail 2-1 in the 4th. Cook walked and scored for the I's on a Josh Hansen double. Egbert has given up only 1 hit through 3 IP (0 BB, 2 K). |

Charlotte lost 6-1. Another rough outing for BMac: 4 IP, 6 R, 9 H, 2 BB, 5 K. Munoz threw 3 shutout innings of relief. Anderson 1-3, BB, R.
W-S lost 10-9. Whisler 3.1 IP, 7 R, 8 H, 1 BB, 4 K. The other CLee started behind the plate and had another big day: 2-4, 2B, HR, 2 R, RBI. He also threw out a baserunner and is now hitting .368. Nanita started in CF and doubled twice. Schnurstein has been back at 3B lately. He singled and walked. Kanny won 4-2. Egbert was his usual self: 6 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 3 K, HB. Zaleski followed with 3 hitless innings, earning his 12th save and lowering his ERA to 2.27. Realizing that it's not safe to pitch to Cook, Charleston walked him 4 times. He still managed to single in his only official AB. You watching this KW? King walked twice. Josh Hansen 1-3, 2B, BB, R, 2 RBI. |
