Charlotte PPD again.
Villacis going tonight for B'ham and Rodriguez for W-S. Both pitchers have sucked this year. Egbert started Game 1 for Kanny and is cruising along (4 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 1 BB, 1 K). Currently tied 1-1 in the 5th, due to a solo shot by red-hot David Cook. His OPS is now well over 1.000. They'll need to move him up soon. Last edited by maurice; 06-02-2005 at 07:32 PM. |

B'ham also PPD.
The 'Hogs lineup spotted Rodriguez and early 2-0 lead after 2 innings. Egbert left after 6 (3 R, 5 H, 1 BB, 6 K), and the Intimidators trail late 3-1. |

The W-S game now delayed.
Kanny came back and tied it up on an error, a double by Cook, a RBI groundout by King, and a RBI double by McCarthy. |

Kanny lost the first game 7-3.
Liotta is set to start Game 2, weather permitting. |

Kanny lost the second game 3-1. Liotta went 6.2 IP, 3 R, 7 H, 4 BB, 6 K, PO.
He's now 4-1 with a 2.61 ERA. The Intimidators managed only 2 hits. The 'Hogs game was suspended. They'll resume tonight and then follow with today's regularly scheduled (but shortened) game. The Barons are scheduled to play a DH today. The Knights will have to wait to make up their games, because they switch cities to start a 4-game set in Indy. |
