Charlotte won 5-3 as Adkins got his first win (1-3, 8.35). He got plenty of help from the bullpen, Fields, Sanders, Bajenaru and Walker (1st Sv).
Borchard Watch: 0-4, 2 Ks, .172.
Anderson: 2-4, 2B .328.
Spidale: 3-4, R, RBI, .279.

Birmingham lost 4-1. Tracey pitched 5 solid innings allowing 2 unearned runs and suffered a tough loss (2-1, 1.69).
Owens: 2-3, R, .299.
Rogowski: 0-2, BB, RBI, .338.

Winston-Salem and Kannapolis had the day off.
