It's probably a rehash of the BA article on our top 10 prospects. Since Phil Rogers wrote it, it isn't really worth looking at.

I like Fields a lot but he's not ready defensively. If his bat brings him that quickly, who knows, but at the mlb level, he's a big downgrade defensively from Crede today. I think he can be equivalent defensively in the long run, though.

I worry about the strikeouts though Randar. Granted I think his swing is more compact and quick than Borchard's, but I'm still a little nervous.

Having seen him play, I'm not terribly concerned at this point. He's a hard-swinger, and K's come with the territory.

Well hopefully he follows the same path as Rowand, another hard swinger who struck out quite a bit in the minors (without the 4x4 accident of course).

He improved pretty dramatically cutting down his K's as the season went along.
