Default Another good performance by Villacis

6.2 IP 5 hits, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts and no runs. I really think the Royals made a huge mistake when they just put this guy on waivers and we claimed him from them. The only chance he got with the major league club was at Yankee Stadium too. Not a fun place for your major league debut. What do people know about this guy. I think he's supposed to have pretty good control.

Cotts actually made his major league debut in Anaheim. The Yankee Stadium game was his fourth game.

To be honest outside of picking him up from KC I don't know much about him.

Is he a hard thrower or more of a finesse pitcher?

IIRC from the start I saw on ESPN he wasn't a hard thrower and I think the announcers said that his strength was control.
