That was a really nice article. Well written. Hope to see Joe in the big leagues sooner than later.

If everyone is swinging for home runs here, why not have him here to do it?

This was a good article.

I had the opportunity in Tucson to stand in the outfield with a glove while Joe was taking batting practice. I didn't catch anything, and some of the balls sailed over the fence anyway. While it was just batting practice, I was impressed with the way the ball jumped off his bat. I told Joe I went to the park to see his first game with the Sox last summer -- which was a 1-0 loss to the Tigers. He said he hopes he gets to stay up longer next time. He's a very cool kid, the sort everyone should want to see succeed.

Great article.

It looks like the Sox seem to be handling him right, despite protests from fans (like myself) to promote him to the big leagues NOW.

I would like nothing more than to see him become a middle of the order switch-hitting power threat.

The universe is the practical joke of the General at the expense of the Particular, quoth Frater Perdurabo, and laughed. The disciples nearest him wept, seeing the Universal Sorrow. Others laughed, seeing the Universal Joke. Others wept. Others laughed. Others wept because they couldn't see the Joke, and others laughed lest they should be thought not to see the Joke. But though FRATER laughed openly, he wept secretly; and really he neither laughed nor wept. Nor did he mean what he said.
