Name the 81 pitchers who have started at least one game for the Sox since 2000. You have 15 minutes.
https://www.sporcle.com/games/tedsox...ers-since-2000 I’m ashamed to admit I only scored 40/81. The first 20 or so came quickly. Then it took some work.

81? Is that all? There have been a few years where it seemed like that we had half that many in that year alone.
Ok, I'll give this a shot. Pretty sure I can out-do 20 but am equally certain there are a lot of Dylan Axelrod's that I'll forget. |

Oh... you had 40. I got 36. Funny how the brain freezes sometimes. I was pretty sure I could rattle off a few more of the one and two game wonders but didn't. I only feel bad about one I forgot. Most of the rest are names I'm glad I forgot!

Seems like 81 is way too low.

I got 44, including the first 20. Wish I got a few more from this past season, but it shows how unremarkable our team really was.

68.
So you mean you guys forgot about Rocky Biddle and Josh Stewart? ![]() I think the trick to scoring well is to think of guys you might know as relievers. It's remarkable how many pitchers who were mostly relievers made at least one start at some point for the Sox.

![]() And yeah, I took the same route: thinking of relievers who either began as starters or filled a gap for a game or two. |

68 is impressive, very impressive.
I got 33. I’m counting Scott Schoenweis even though I don’t know how to spell his name. Forgot Gavin Floyd ![]()

I'm lousy at games like this, but can any of you who did this tell me how many of that group had exactly ONE start? Not a trivia contest, I just want to know.

I actually did better with the 2000-2005 era than the 2010-2015 era. The last seven years of Sox baseball are somewhat of a black hole. I even missed Miguel Gonzalez from 2016-2017.

Most of the guys I missed were early 2000s. I won't post any more names. Don't want to spoil the quiz for any posters who might not have taken it yet. |
