Default Peavy to the Giants

According to the commentators on MLB radio....

An already stellar rotation just got that much stronger.

According to Jayson Stark, concern over Cain's elbow drove the deal for the Gs.

The rotation actually has been an issue for most of the season. Bumgarner has been great, but everyone else seems a question mark and Hudson, who was a question mark in March. I heard a fan on a Giants postgame show a month ago advocating a deal for Samardizija that would send Cain to the Cubs. Peavy will help, but even with Peavy, I don't know if the Giants have the rotation to stay ahead of the Dodgers.

Posey & Peavy are not enjoying their first night together.

Next stop for Peavy, Brett Favre's touch football Wrangler jeans league. He would fit right in, tattoo's, chewing tabacco, country music and beer.
