Yeah, agree, not nearly as critical as I was expecting, even Keri sees you just have to keep the faith.

I can't wait to see what Hahn does at trade deadline and this off season. He really did a unbelievable job with getting young talent. Remember he made a few great moves at deadline last year.

I was thinking about that too as I was reading this, but I don't know what he has, if anything, to work with. He might try to make a move for a high rated prospect, but we will have to see.

This team would look very different today if someone had taught Avisail Garcia how to dive for a ball.

Imagine Abreu with the protection Garcia could give him.

I would say it's the other way around....imagine Avisail with Abreu's protection?

It would be better, but in the same spot. Avi would still have had growing pains, like all young hitters.

The point is, this idea we should be competing for the wild card right now, and its a failure because we are not, is a joke. We have a TON of young talent that needs to be brought a long and be ready to compete soon, but not today.

This was a mildly encouraging piece except for the general upshot of the reality that this bullpen almost surely cannot be fixed this year--which means the rest of this season will be excruciating and we'll probably end up about 20 games under .500...
