We haven't won a game in Saturday all season.

Glad we have Sale going tomorrow so we may be able to salvage a game against this juggernaut Padres team.

Losing a series to Arizona and now San Diego at home is terrible.

These kinds of losses can come back and bite you in the ass. Hopefully they salvage tomorrow with Sale going...I hate losing the momentum from the sweep so easily.

Here's hoping the K zone has something to get excited about. I thought we might be able to tie it up, but the Pads made a great catch to rob us. After that, it didn't appear we had much going for us.

Tyler going for the rare game-tying check swing there in the last AB.

If the White Sox were in the National League West, their first two months of 2014 would be a lot less impressive. They haven't even faced the Dodgers and the Giants yet.

We also had trouble with the Astros, why are we having trouble with these lousy teams?

San Diego's bullpen is its strength. You don't want to be trailing these guys after six innings. They are tough to rally against.

The Sox are an up-and-down team. They haven't won more than four in a row all season, nor have they lost more than four in a row at any point. They have played well enough to avoid long losing streaks, but they have too many warts to sustain a long winning streak.

Right now, the team isn't hitting much. In their last seven games, they've scored three runs or less six times. Fortunately, they've got a 2-1 win and a 3-2 win mixed in there, so this little offensive funk hasn't hurt too much. They are still winning about half their games.

Good question Nell...it's been going on for the past few years now, not just this year. They play pretty well against teams over .500 then let down against the bad ones.

Another odd stat, 1-9 this year on games broadcast over WGN America. Only win was when the Cub announcers were doing the game from Wrigley.

True, although the Padres seem a quite a bit better than Houston, with their pitching alone.

They are overdoing it a little with those unis, I've seen enough of them, not only for this season but from 82 to 86 also.

Thank goodness WGN America is dropping sports programming.
