Absolutely. The pool of eligible players is much larger than the NBA, NHL or NFL draft. Also, there is a much longer development time period for baseball players than the other sports, so in the MLB draft it is more about potential than "do we have someone who can start on Day One?"

Catcher is the one position I think we have failed on consistently when it came to developing a replacement for AJ. I really hope that we can change that through the draft or a trade.
