And here it is. I would not read too much into it, especially after criticizing Charles Nagy for not ordering enough drillings of opponents. I don't think burning every bridge you can is the way to go, but that's just me. And even if he is kind of a jerk, we need one or two guys like that, who aren't going to take ****, and hold other players accountable for dogging it and stupid mistakes.

In some steroid speculation discussions there is at least some physical evidence.

This sort of reminds of a time back in the early 90's when a friend of my parents asked me if I liked the Sox Shortstop, Ozzie Guillen. She told me that a friend of hers saw Ozzie on the street one day and a kid came up to Ozzie and asked for an autograph on his baseball. Ozzie took the kid's ball, signed it and then tossed it on the street under a bus and laughed at the kid.

Too bad we did not have the Internet and TMZ back then. Very credible story.

Why wouldn't you believe that?

"I saw X player do something rude once so he is a total *******" is always a credible argument.

Both of FanFraphs currently published projection systems have Eaton as the Sox top player in regards to WAR.

Not sure how I feel about that.

I feel good! Of course it also indicates that our team is bad.

War???? Well, that proves he is a jerk! All those innocent women and children getting wounded and killed because he wants to make a point.

I'd rather that than the all-pacifist offense they had last year.

Many apologies.

Shows how much attention I've been paying to the Sox.

If they are including pitchers, then it is definitely a good thing. Chris Sale should be worth 4-5, so if Eaton beats that, it means he'll have a great year. If they are only counting position players than 2 could be enough to be the leader, which would suck.

He says a lot of the right things, not resting on past performance, etc. I'm excited to see what this kid can do!

If he performs at all, he will quickly be a fan favorite. He's smart, funny, and quirky. I just hope that translates well on the field this year.
