Eh, maybe, but if a guy shreds his shoulder after 3 seasons averaging 158 IP per year, it's possible he's just not cut out for that line of work

I think he was more a victim of being an average to below average crafty lefty who happened to play in the middle of the Steroid Era offensive boom. Maybe if he was born in 1965 or 1985, he could have carved out a nice little career, unfortunately for him, he entered his mid-20s in 1998.
