Konerko, Eaton and Viciedo have been added.

The up-to-date list:

Current players Paul Konerko, Adam Eaton, Jose Abreu, Adam Dunn, Avisail Garcia, Josh Phegley, Nate Jones, Matt Lindstrom, Alexei Ramirez, Dayan Viciedo and Addison Reed, past stars Ron Kittle, Carlos May, Minnie Minoso, Tom Paciorek, Gary Peters and Frank Thomas, manager Robin Ventura, and coaches Don Cooper and Todd Steverson, along with White Sox prospects Erik Johnson, Micah Johnson and Marcus Semien.

It's too bad hotel guests aren't receiving a bobblehead this year. Is the coaster set a response to complaints from people who don't care about bobbleheads?

Nice tie-in with the 2013 team's ad theme, "The Coaster Rules":

1. Win. Or die trying. On second thought, maybe just die.
4. Knowing what's coming and hitting what's coming -- not gonna happen.
5. Every pitch is strike three.
6. The best seat in the house is available for $5 on StubHub.
7. Coaster ball requires lethargy, poor defense, and utterly no discipline.
10. Only one statistic matters: L
11. When jumping off the White Sox bandwagon, do not, I repeat DO NOT, let the door hit you in the ass.
22. When attending a Chicago White Sox game, do your best to stay awake.
23. When all is said and done, make sure you "said" more than you done.
25. A good outfielder doesn't see the wall. He watches balls fly far over it.
28. Always give fans something they can take away from the game. Like a shred of their pride.
30. Good enough, isn't likely.
33. The best way to get out of a hole is to stop digging yourself deeper.
37. Never walk. Even when the pitcher refuses to throw you a strike.
66. There is nothing loveable about losing. (No edit required.)

It's good to see that they are finally listening to some of the fans and are bringing in some prospects to Soxfest this year. I was not planning on attending this year, but all of the fresh faces are making me rethink my decision. I am also thinking about giving out 30 to 1 odds that Viciedo and/or Dunn are gone by the time Soxfest rolls around.

I usually go and haven't even bought a ticket yet. I'd like to see a few more alumni added like Thome since he works for the team now.

Yes, more alumni are needed, especially since the event costs so much. Right now, Peters is the only fresh name.

Has Dick Allen ever attended? I know the deal with Fisk, but it is a shame that he never comes around. Britt Burns? Oscar Gamble? Gary Redus? Who could forget Gary Redus?!

Peters has attended I think twice in the past 10 years. He was there in 2004, and I think he was there a couple years ago with the '64 guys.

Allen, No. Burns was there in 2003 or 2004 (Dotson, Hoyt and Bannister have all attended over the past ten years too). Gamble, definitely a few years ago. Redus- do you have to ask?

Dick Allen did attend Sox Fest once in the late 90's. I know that he was upstairs in the ballroom at the Hyatt and it was a long wait but I got him to sign an 8 x10 picture in his '72 uniform.

Very nice. I attended in '97 and then didn't go again until 2001, so there was a a few years gap. Would be fun to know what old timers they brought in during the 90s.

I had forgotten that Bucky Dent was there in 2003.

They just added Thome and Bo Jackson. HUGE.

"Jackson and Thome join current players Jose Abreu, Adam Dunn, Adam Eaton, Avisail Garcia, Erik Johnson, Nate Jones, Paul Konerko, Matt Lindstrom, Josh Phegley, Alexei Ramirez and Marcus Semien, and White Sox prospect Micah Johnson, who all are scheduled to be at SoxFest. Other former Sox players planning to attend, including Ron Kittle, Carlos May, Minnie Minoso, Tom Paciorek, Gary Peters and Frank Thomas. White Sox manager Robin Ventura also will be in attendance, as well as pitching coach Don Cooper and new hitting coach Todd Steverson."

Great lineup of former players so far.
