Default *OFFICIAL* 9/13 White Sox Lose to Cleveland, 3-1

I think that this is the first Friday the 13th game that the White Sox have lost in a while. It was a day game because of Yom Kippur and I didn't see any of it but I would assume it looked like several other games this year.

The norm. I was there. 0-2 counts, can't close it. Dunn brutal. Opportunities lost. I've got no more.

What was the crowd like? I completely forgot it was a day game until I got the final score from MLB At Bat.

Dead. Not a lot of fans. Big plus, bathroom lines were short meaning no lines at all.

Was there any reason why they did a day game? I thought the Cubs were the only team in baseball that played day games on a Friday.

Announced crowd of 15,000, I would say half of that.

High Holy Days. Yom Kippur started at sundown.

The White Sox look like they're trying to overtake Miami for the #2 draft pick.

It's nice to come home from work and not have to worry about how the Sox are going to embarrass themselves that night.

Ventura now 13-28 in September.

\Busts out abacus...

Which means the STH base is around 13K-14K this year. It was around 10K last year which I would expect it to return to at best after this year.

I hope the marketing team has a better idea than a Twitter hashtag that will be used ironically 20 games into the year.

The first four ties Dunn came up to bat, there were two runners on base. Dunn was 0 for 4, with three K's and a fielder's choice. UGH!

Can they buy him out of the remainder of his deal? I can't stand the sight of him in a Sox uniform any longer.

If Dunn is seriously considering retirement, maybe he & the Sox can work something out with his contract so the team can move ahead.
