Love to beat the worst team around.

Wow, they came back. I'm really glad the two Garcia's didn't run into each other. I was starting to have visions of Maggs and Willie Harris.

No need for the apostrophe. The only thing they owned was a near collision.

A win!
![]() At least this year's edition will not lose more games than the 1970 edition.

And let's be honest, the recent winning streak has cost the White Sox very little in terms of draft position. If the season ended today, the Sox would still draft third next June.

It is basically a pitched battle between the Cubs and Sox for the 3rd slot. Neither team is catching the Marlins or Houston for the top two slots. And Milwaukee is at least 4 games back of the Cubs for the 3rd slot. |

Yeah, it is hard to see a scenario where the Sox don't draft in the top five next year. And I suspect the Sox will cool off a bit on the next road trip -- 10 games against AL East contenders coming up.

His approach seems more focused, yet relaxed. I don't think he'll ever shake the whiffs, completely, but I'll take it if he can just keep his pitch selection close to where it is now.

It was a bad memory. Fortunately, the Garcia's didn't have the same problem.
