Congrats to Rienzo on his first win. Five in a row? What?

Well, its clear: everything wrong with the Sox was Alex Rios' fault.

It would be great if Vic could figure everything out.
And 5 games in a row for Reed; 6/7 days. Gotta win that 70 games. To hell with next year.
Would have been a good night to give Jones a save opportunity.

We make 2 errors and still win by 3. White Sox are in the zone. Keep on winning as Angels, twins, and cubs all lose.

Reed's a big boy. He can handle it.

So, the 2013 White Sox are the opposite of the past few years where they have a decent season (after April) and then fall apart in mid-August. Now they stink up the joint until Mid-August and then go on a tear to nowhere.

Frank Thomas screaming for Viciedo to be moved to the 3 hole and left there.
Chuck and Melton disagree since he hasn't earned it.

Frank makes good point, who's earned anything on this squad when looking at those batting averages?

I kind of agree with Frank, might as well stick Viciedo in 3 hole the rest of the way and see if the batting order for him will make a difference. Frank believes so. Says a big difference from hitting 3rd to hitting 7th and 8th.

You have nothing to lose here. Might as well see if this guy will sink or swim and move on for good if he sinks.

He had a day off Monday so it's not as bad as all that. Three days in a row may be the limit. His control looks good and the slider is biting when it bores in on lefties. That may be why righties hit him better. The velocity ain't much to brag about.

He'll never be a guy like Kimbrel but he's getting the job done, especially considering he's about the cheapest arm we've got. Once the rest of the pen starts looking solid I'll worry about Reed. Until then.....

As long as he continues to get hits and not swing for the fences continuously. He should take a page from Garcia's at bats. Maybe Ramirez might also do the same when it comes to keeping your head in the game and hustling down to first base.

I just saw the replay on CSN of Frank's rant about Viciedo. Love the passion from Frank. Even in the midst of this miserable season, there are still things about the Sox that make me smile, like seeing Rienzo get his first major league win and seeing Tank hit that grand slam.

October26 - Thank you to the 2005 World Series Champions Chicago White Sox!
October26 - Twenty-SEVEN years ago, I married my husband on October 26. Since that day, we have been blessed with a wonderful family. Then, on October 26, 2005, when the baseball gods bestowed their good fortunes upon us, we saw the White Sox win the World Series. An incredibly talented team of grinders made every Sox fan's dream come true. My family and I celebrated with reckless abandon. And now, we look forward to that day when our White Sox will once again be World Series Champions!

It has been a miserable year for baseball, but I am happy to see some life in this squad. The rebuild, or tinkering should have happened a while ago, but I'll take it. Garcia has done wonders for this club. It might be the psyche, it might be something else. I just know that it's fun to watch White Sox baseball again. I haven't been this excited since 2008 and not because I expect us to win out or anything like that. I am just happy to watch all of this youth succeed.

Our pitching is incredible. With the right pieces, I can see this being a hell of a ballclub in the near future.

Greatest Arsenal goal I have ever witnessed. Chills to this day watching it.
