Default 2013 Scout Seats - What to Expect

Hi All,

I won Scout Seats in a charity auction and other than what's posted on the team's website and what I've seen on TV, I know little about the ammenities. Any idea what time the Scout Lounge opens? Do they allow you to hang out after the game to let the masses clear out of the area? Do they have craft beer? Any insight or experience info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've had scout seats a few times- I try to get there when the gates open for the park- great pre-game buffet and open/full bar- I think the bar stays open for about an hour or so post game- usually Melton, Minoso, Garfein are around before the game.

Seats are great, there's an "in seat menu" of food and drinks for your server to bring if you don't want to go back to the bar.

If you get the parking pass- it's like the Red Sea parting as you drive down 35th and into the lot right by the Scout Seat entrance.

It's like a 5 hour "all inclusive" vacation.

I would expect the 2013 scout seats are the same as the 2012 scout seats and the 2011 before them.

Seriously though, it is nice to do once. You'll eat more than you should, you'll drink more than you should, and when it is done you'll say "that was a lot of fun. not sure if it is worth the price, but it was fun to do once". You might even use capital letters when you say it.

A guy wearing an M&M jacket, a Southpaw appearance in the fifth inning and a Sox security worker sitting down on the job so he can watch the entire game from a prime front-row seat.

Don't forget a guy in a wheelchair who may or may not be wearing a giant goat mask and making bizarre hand gestures all game long.

Does anyone have experience buying Scout Seats at a discounted price outside of Stubhub? I am planning on sitting there for the first time in July.

Speaking of noticeable "fans" in the Scout Seats, I wonder what happened to that kid who used to clap nonstop, and I believe was a poster on here.
