Default *Official* 6-17 "Dayan" for a 3-RBI triple; SOX 4 HOU 2 Potsgamer

At least we avoided a 4-game sweep, right?

Finally get a big hit.
Didn't get swept by the Astros.
Crain is having an unreal year. 2 ER in 30+ innings; high strikeout rate. We darn well out to get some quality for him.

Nate Jones is starting to look less scary lately. Only one ER this month.

Jones had some real bad luck. Nothing changed with his peripherals from last year.

Heck of a job by the bullpen and a very timely hit by Tank. Nice to be able to post one of these again...

Heard a stat that the last player to have a triple in back to back games with the Sox was the legendary Mark Kotsay. You're in good company Tank.

Game was dreadfully slow. But wins are wins. Onwards to Minnesota.

Nice to be able to post the tank from the Patch once in a while. That's a White Sox winner!

Loving the Tank references (including in the thread title).

Kudos to Tank for hitting the bases clearing triple and to Crain and the Sox pitchers for another great night.

More wins, please.

October26 - Twenty-SEVEN years ago, I married my husband on October 26. Since that day, we have been blessed with a wonderful family. Then, on October 26, 2005, when the baseball gods bestowed their good fortunes upon us, we saw the White Sox win the World Series. An incredibly talented team of grinders made every Sox fan's dream come true. My family and I celebrated with reckless abandon. And now, we look forward to that day when our White Sox will once again be World Series Champions!

Who else was waiting for the spectacular diving catch to rob Tank of extra bases? My jaw dropped when we finally got one to fall.

Jesse Crain did another great job last night. I know a rent a player setup man traditionally won't yield a lot of prospects but Crain is arguably the best in all of baseball right now. One would have to think multiple contenders will be calling about him which could drive his asking price up.

Someone e-mail Brooks, I think we have a new marketing slogan for the Sox.
