So sad, what was supposed to be a fun day at the ballgame turned horribly tragic. Prayers to her family....

Sad sports story, indeed.

I wonder how many entities her family will sue.
Ridiculousness across all sports:

(1) "You have no valid opinion because you never played the game."
(2) "Stats are irrelevant. This guy just doesn't know how to win."

Very sad, however I don't think there is a lawsuit in the future.

Too bad no one noticed that she was choking and in distress as they may have been able to perform the heimlich maneuver and save her.

I remember our pediatrician telling us that the number one thing children choke on are hot dogs. I know she wasn't a child, however a big chunk of meat lodged in the throat can be a terrifying ordeal.

It won't be the manufacturer of that hot dog, they went out of business in 1950 shortly after the suspect dog shipped.

‎This just in from the newswires: The Anti-Trust Division of the US Department of Justice has announced that whenever Sale take The Bump, it is unfair competition in violation of various federal and state laws. However, he is not being prosecuted because it is so ****in awesome to watch him do his craft.

She was an alumna of my alma mater. I didn't know her, but apparently a number of my friends from college did.

28. Damn.

Obviously a terrible, terrible story, but one bright spot is that she was an organ donor and her heart was donated to a 14-year-old in desperate need of one.

One would think that out of anywhere you would want to be while choking would be a public place surrounded by thousands of people. Sad story.
