Pathetic

Why are you intentionally walking Chris Getz? Really?

Why is Rios not trying in RF?

Three of their walks came around to score. That's the difference in today's game.

Was that a poor effort by Rios, or an injured effort by Rios?

At least in '07 we didn't start sucking until Memorial Day weekend. Pitiful.

Supposedly playing in the WBC helped Rios.....no really that's what some were saying.

3rd game this year the Sox lost when leading in the 7th or later.

1-3 in extra inning games this season...Sox now 6-12 in extra inning games dating back to last year.

Dunn left five men on base today with two strikeouts, yet he continues to hit up in the lineup.

Walks will kill you.

It just keeps getting worse and worse and worse.

Congratulations to Coop and Robin for deciding to issue Chris Getz his 3d career IBB (and first since 2010).

Just out of curiosity I found a Cub fan website yesterday after the Cubbies blew another late inning lead. One actual intelligent Cub fan asked how long were they going to keep bringing in Marmol when he keeps hurting the team. Same goes for the Sox and Dunn.

What do you expect him to do? Dive for it?

The Chris Getzs and Wilson Betemits and Jason Nixs of the world always seem to play a pivotal role in beating us. So frustrating.

With Peavy probably heading to the DL any delusions of actually competing this year might be wiped away by the end of this month. And both him and Floyd have lost their trade value (Floyd obviously has none if he's gone for the season)

If Rios is really hurt then his value also diminishes leaving us with....a really bad situation.

Just because I don't like feeling so down I will point out that in 2005 the Astros made the world series after being 15 games under in May. I know their roster was (slightly) better than ours but I just want to believe that this season can turnaround.

Shingo:

Even more frustrating is that those type guys (throw Swisher in as well) always seem to actually play well when they leave the Sox, yet suck when they are with them.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Dunn with another team in two years and 'suddenly' start hitting .240 again with 30 home runs and 90 RBI's.

Typical.
