Nice win. Reed looks like he's going to be fine in the closer role. He's already closed out a couple of 1-run games without any trouble.

Good bounceback victory. Take the series tomorrow.

Past performance suggests Keppinger will hit. But whoa, is he bad at the plate right now.

nice to get a win on a day where I had low expectations. Axelrod stepped up, huge bomb by rios

If Sale pitches us to win tomorrow, nice opening week at home

Nice to see Alex starting off the season well, since his last two odd-numbered years have been . Second-stringers did pretty well against the King.

Sale needs to go out and take the series tomorrow before the long road trip.

I tuned in late today but enjoyed seeing the Rios homer and a nice come back win by the Sox. I like to see Reed pitch quick and easy top of the 9th innings to get the save.

October26 - Twenty-SEVEN years ago, I married my husband on October 26. Since that day, we have been blessed with a wonderful family. Then, on October 26, 2005, when the baseball gods bestowed their good fortunes upon us, we saw the White Sox win the World Series. An incredibly talented team of grinders made every Sox fan's dream come true. My family and I celebrated with reckless abandon. And now, we look forward to that day when our White Sox will once again be World Series Champions!

Very happy about that because Quintana has me worried. A good win against a real Cy Young pitcher.

Yes, he looks great. His offspeed pitch and the slider are working. He's getting ahead early. Three saves so far...a save in each win.

Gillaspie is a humble young guy. I think Hawk got a kick out of Conor calling him "sir" during the postgamer.

That is a huge win. Huge. Our 5th started against their ace. If we can get the series tomorrow then I'll be feeling pretty good about us.

The amount of errors we've made is a little concerning to this point but hopefully we shore that up soon.

Aww, that is nice to hear. I did not get to see the post game show (I am racing out the door) but I'm glad to hear of a young player or person respecting his elders.

Absolutely. Axelrod vs. King Felix, no Konerko, no Viciedo, no Flowers, and they still won. This is a win that they weren't supposed to have, and they got it anyway.

We beat King Felix with our "B Team" line up and our #6 starter- I'll take it.

Default Team Of Destiny

There are trials and tribulations in every baseball season. Last nights loss was certainly a tough one. Coming back today with our 5th starter going against Seattles $175 million dollar pitcher and winning the game is convincing me more and more that this White Sox team of 2013 is a Team Of Destiny. This is going to be an exciting season as the White Sox march into the 2013 Playoffs.

We rested half our starters, pitched our #5, and still beat one of the best pitchers in baseball. With Sale on the bump tomorrow, this has a chance to be a real nice homestand to open the season.
