At some point Verlander has to cool off right? Or at least the odds would say that the Sox should be able to beat him since they haven't for like 5 years or whatever. Also I'm not sure Detroit addressed their bullpen needs in the offseason so that could come back to bite them. As for the future of the Sox I think this current coaching staff has them off to a great start as far as organizational philosophy of doing things the right way, preaching great defesne, ect. Just need the talent to execute. |

What's the point of thinking about 2014 before the 2013 season? Seriously. I don't see what you take out of doing so as a fan. Enjoy the possibilities of this season.

No harm in looking to the future though, right?
That's why a lot of people enjoy Spring Training so much, seeing the future potential in the prospects who may get to crack the line-up in the next 2 years. |

I agree, especially for a team like the White Sox who are clearly entering a cycle of major roster turnover.

Looking ahead is ok with this club. I just hope if any players have a bad year, its not Sale, Danks, Viciedo, Beckham and Flowers. That is basically the core of the future.

I'm hopeful that Hahn will acquire better talent once our big contract crunch lessens. |
