I do think Detroit is a flawed team in some regards, and I prefer our pitching overall.

At some point Verlander has to cool off right? Or at least the odds would say that the Sox should be able to beat him since they haven't for like 5 years or whatever.

Also I'm not sure Detroit addressed their bullpen needs in the offseason so that could come back to bite them.

As for the future of the Sox I think this current coaching staff has them off to a great start as far as organizational philosophy of doing things the right way, preaching great defesne, ect. Just need the talent to execute.
