Just a bit of news I got from Gonzo. He said that he's never been impressed with a 19 year old like he has with Hawkins.

Called him "impressive and talented" And also appreciative of the people who have helped him. Said he was a "terrific" kid to talk to.

Maybe the farm system will start showing some life in two years or so.

Not that there is even a comparison, but plenty of people said the exact same thing about Manti Te'o.

It is nice to have a prospect to be genuinely excited about.
